A Look At 5 Horror Movies And Their Latest Incarnations!

John Carpenter’s, ‘Halloween and Rob Zombie’s, ‘Halloween’ are a great example of the difference between old and new!

Ok, so the one thing that I don’t think that a lot of people really generally tend to think with is the idea that with the passage of time, that a lot of these long term horror franchises, or those  that started out a long time ago and have recently been remade or rebooted tend to loose their origins…

What I mean by this is the idea of like, Kevin Bacon (The Following) not only was one of the earliest camp counselors to be murdered in a Friday the 13th movie… But he was roughly about the 6th to ever be murdered in a Friday The 13th movie! Or maybe you forget that Jamie Lee Curtis (Scream Queens) actually got her start as the first heroine in the original Halloween movies!

Not only do people tend to forget about these interesting tidbits… But sometimes the studios try to make a myth in this area in the story… What I mean by this is that like for example, in Friday The 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhatten (1989)… The narrator makes mention of the previous batch of movies… But only in very vague terms… To add an area of mystique…

And so with all of that in mind, I  thought that I would give you a guys a glimpse in to the past of these awesome series and where they have eventually ended up with… So enjoy!
