Batman Incorporated Vol 1 #1 (2011) – Comic Book Review

Ok, so I heard about this particular comic book in the past, and I have to say that I did not believe it! Don’t get me wrong, I have kind of thought that Batman Incorporated, and the various Batmen that kind of began to show up, is not a bad idea… But still… It is kind of a bizarre concept!

But you know what? It actually is not that bad! I get the feeling that I missed something before all of this (Just so as you know I am continuously catching up as I stopped following comics themselves when I was a kid… But decided to catch back up with them recently for Hell In Space… I am glad I did, it has been fun… But still catching up!)

With that said though, I have to say that this first issue actually is pretty freaking awesome… You see, this comic tells the story of how Mr. Unknown (A Japanese super hero that is being fielded as that countries, ‘Batman’,) is murdered by Lord Death Man….

Now back in Gotham, Batman utilizes Catwoman, (Selena Kyle) for her thief skills, to steal a robot from a super villain is offered the trip of a life time (more then they know…)

You see, Batman/Bruce Wayne and Catwoman/Selena Kyle are going to Japan to recruit Mr. Unknown in to Batman Inc… But what they come in to well… You will just have to wait and see…

Now this story is absolutely awesome! The artwork is incredible… It was so impressive that even though I did not originally have much hope for this comic… I have to say that I really was quite impressed!

The only legitimate thing that i did not like about this comic is that I have to say that, ‘Lord Death Man’ is a pretty stupid name… And I feel like that came from some one who really did not think much on it…

Otherwise… This comic leaves you on a cliffhanger that you really are going to want to read… Trust me!
