Black Panther (2018) – Movie Review

The MCU has become one of those mainstay movie series that I think we can all agree is a pretty awesome series, with a ton of great movies and comic book heroes that were introduced in such a way that makes them more than just comic book heroes, but done in such a way that makes these larger than life heroes in to realistic people as well!

Now for the longest time, the MCU has pretty much stayed the same… Pretty much has been centered around the, ‘Avengers’ and their independent characters… Including: ‘Iron Main’, ‘Thor’ & ‘Captain America’.

But with this particular part of the Avengers coming to an end… More characters and at least another team is coming in to play… Including, ‘The Guardians Of The Galaxy’, ‘Spider-Man’, ‘Captain Marvel’ as well as, Black Panther (2018).

Written by: Joe Robert Cole (American Crime Story), Ryan Coogler (Creed) & Directed by: Ryan Coogler. Starring: Chadwick Bosseman (Captain America: Civil War), Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station), Lupita Nyong’o (Star Wars: Episode IX), Danai Gurira (The Visitor) & Martin Freeman (Cargo).

“Wakanda will no longer watch from the shadows. We can not. We must not. We will work to be an example of how we, as brothers and sisters on this earth, should treat each other. Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another, as if we were one single tribe.” – T-Challa (A quote from Chadwick Boseman from the movie, Black Panther (2018).)

Wakanda is a land that for centuries has been protected by a united warriors tribe deep in the heart of Africa… The reason they protected this so completely and kept the area a complete secret is because of the, ‘Vibranium’ that is only in a mine that, the Wakandans control!

And boy do the protect it heavily!

But now this empire, which has literally been in secret for centuries, (to the point of having a cloaking shield over the city,) is about to be taken over by some one who never should have been able to do so, and a secret of T’Challa’s father… A secret shame will come back to haunt T-Challa and the rest of the country!

And when this secret takes over… It will change the lives of the royal line of Wakanda and the country forever!

Ok… So I am just gonna say it… It is a great film! It is so good, that it is one of the very few of the MCU films that I did end up seeing in the theater a couple of times! So please check it out! It is well worth it!
