Cell (2016) – Movie Review

Ok, so this is an interesting one… This is not the first movies that I have reviewed that was based on a book, but honestly, I think this may actually be the first one that I have reviewed for this site…

That movie being: Cell (2016)

Written by: Stephen King (The Stand) & Adam Alleca (The Last House On The Left) & Directed by: Tod Williams (Paranormal Activity 2). Starring: John Cusack (High Fidelity), Samuel L. Jackson (The Avengers) & Isabelle Fuhrman (Oprhan).

“Don’t be sorry because there is nothing to be sorry about yet.” – A quote from the movie, Cell (2016).

This is the interesting story of how cell phones cause the zombie apocalypse… Sort of…

What I mean by this is that Clay Riddell (Played by: John Cusack), who went down to Boston to make a name for himself… When he finally sells his graphic novel… He decides to come home… Maybe a little late!

You see, there is this strange signal that is being sent through cell phones that turns people in to these strange rampaging zombies… And so as Clay decides to get home as quick as he could, he ends up picking up some friends along the way… But there is something about these Zombies that are not like normal Zombies… And Clay and his friends will soon be finding out what!

Now as for this movie… It is a great film… It keeps you on the edge of your seat with a great cast and story… But the only problem that I really had with it… It was not just anti-climatic… but there was a particular point of the story that did kind of bother me… But it is good and is worth checking out if you get a chance!
