Click (2006) – Movie Review

Now Adam Sandler (Billy Madison), this guy is an incredible actor, I know alot of people generally tend to knock some of his most recent work, due to the fact that he seems to have been spending alot of his time lately doing netflix movies… But netflix has some great films, and Adam Sandler still rocks!

And if you want to find out what I am talking about, then check out his earlier stuff… He is funny in a slapstick sort of way, but his comedy can also be heartwarming as well!

Now the reason I mention this, is because I just recently saw fresh the only Science Fiction movie that he has ever done that I am aware of… And it was pretty awesome! That movie being, Click (2006)!

Written by:  Steve Koren (Bruce Almightly), Mark O’Keefe (News Radio) & Directed by: Frank Coraci (The Wedding Singer). Starring: Adam Sandler, Kate Beckinsale (Underworld), Christopher Walken (The Deer Hunter), David Hasselhoff (Baywatch), Henry Winkler (Sandy Wexler) & Julie Kavner (The Simpsons).

“He’s always chasing the pot of gold, but when he gets there, at the end of the day, it’s just corn flakes.” – A quote by Morty (Christopher Walken) from the movie, Click (2006)!

This movie is the hilarious tale of an architect by the name of, “Michael Newman’ (Played by: Adam Sandler), who is trying to juggle to much… He has a family, and a career, and niether one of them are getting enough time… And so this guy is obviously not getting much sleep!

Well after a fight with his wife, ‘Donna’ (Played by: Kate Beckinsale), he goes to the local, ‘Bed Bath & Beyond’ Store… After lying down on one of the beds for a moment, Michael discovers the, ‘Beyond’ section… And looking for a Universal Remote, he decides to take a peak.

When he gets in there, he meets the kindly old guy, ‘Morty’ (Played by: Christopher Walken)… Morty decides to give him a remote, that can change his life in good ways, as well as bad!

But ultimately, this workaholic, is going to learn something about life that will change his forever!

Now you might be wondering why I am mentioning this movie in a horror and science fiction movie… To tell you the truth, I think this movie is absolutely hilarious… But it also kind of has an awesome message for those that are overworking themselves to death!

So check it out, it is a fun movie to watch on a Saturday afternoon, or just for the heck of it!
